In her own community, Beverly has been recognized for her contribution to economic development, has conducted focus groups surveying business needs, has been an active supporter of an initiative to provide employment opportunities for mature workers, teaches marketing to start-up businesses, and has been a guest contributor to Cape Business magazine. Her credentials include graduate education in business and career development; professional training with William Bridges (Organizational and Individual Transition); Joan Goldsmith (Transformational Coaching); Roger Fisher (Principled Negotiation); Charles and Edith Seashore (Skills for Consulting, Coaching and Change); Margaret Wheatley (Leadership for Uncertain Times); David Cooperrider (Appreciative Inquiry); and Richard Bolles, author of What Color is your Parachute? Beverly and her husband Michael, together with their Scottish fold cats, Fergus and Brydie, operate the Center for Career and Business Development in North Eastham.
